PGT is a joint venture between leading and world recognised leading downstream graphite processing group, Metachem Manufacturing, India and the Evion Group NL. Evion bring substantial commercial and graphite marketing to the JV and proposes to supply material from its Maniry site in the near future.
Operating under Australian environmental and general governance standards, the company will benefit from the close, long standing, multi-faceted relationship in the resources sector between Australia and India. Panthera will produce expandable graphite from India, a country with a number of decades of experience, with planning underway to construct a manufacturing plant in India, as the company aims to become a significant supplier of expandable graphite.
